Meditation Workshop
Our modern lifestyles are filled with constant stress and distractions. These daily intrusions negatively impact our physical and mental health, making us more susceptible to many problems from physical illnesses to Alzheimer’s disease.

Dawnlight Yoga’s Mindfulness Meditation Workshop is for those who are interested in learning the art of meditation. This workshop covers the basics of meditation and hands-on trials of over a dozen meditation techniques.
The Mindfulness Meditation Workshop is broken into four sessions that focus on a specific part of meditation.

Session 1
Covers a basic history and introduction to meditation, as well as the 7 principles of meditation.

Session 2
Focuses on breath-based meditation, which is one of the oldest and simplest forms of meditation.

Session 3
Focuses on sensory-based meditation, which can be done practically anywhere at anytime.

Session 4
Focuses on deeper meditations that calm and quiet the mind.
